Women's History Movie: A League of Their Own
*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 03/19/2024
Join us for movie night! Popcorn will be provided.
Summary: Set during World War II, the movies explores the first women's professional baseball league. The story focuses on the rivalry between two sisters, one a sweet-swinging catcher and the other a pouty, impulsive pitcher, who play on the same team, which is managed by a washed-up, hard-drinking ex-Major Leaguer player.
This sports comedy drama was a huge hit and is so much fun! Starring Tom Hanks, Madonna, Geena Davis, and Rosie O'Donnell.
