St. Thomas Episcopal School

The community of St. Thomas Episcopal School believes in teaching its children how to live lives of excellence. Parents and faculty work closely to provide the experiences and the guidance students need in order to understand their world. St. Thomas is a play based preschool serving the northern part of San Antonio. Our Reggio Emilia approach to learning allows all children to lead their curiosity to gain knowledge and understanding in the world around them. St. Thomas is accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES). We are certified by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services. In addition to being accredited and certified, St. Thomas holds membership with The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. St. Thomas is accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES). The accreditation process ensures that our School meets and/or exceeds state standards and that our students reach their fullest potential. Our preschool is designed to follow the needs and interests of the children as they develop at their own pace. With a variety of experiences to develop their social skills, mathematical understanding, language arts development, motor skills, and science processes, St. Thomas teaches to the whole child.
