Nature Walk: Trees of Hardberger Park

Lissa Martinez and Stan Drezek introduce participants to the common species of trees found in Hardberger Park, including Eve's Necklace, Hogplum and Toothache tree. The 1.25 mile walk is slow-paced and on flat terrain.

Meet in the patio area of the PHP Urban Ecology Center in the west side of the park (8400 NW Military Hwy). The program is presented by the Sierra Club, the Alamo Area Texas Master Naturalists, the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy and San Antonio Parks & Recreation. It is free and no registration is required. A donation to the PHP Conservancy of $3/ person OR $5/ family is suggested.
