Join in percussion fun with Grammy-winning drummer Nina Rodriguez and multi-instrumentalist Stephanie Pedraza on a musical journey through Mexican mariachi and the Sister Cities connection between San Antonio and Guadalajara.
You will also use your imagination to color and design your own mini paper charro or mariachi suit that is bright, colorful, and elaborate!
This event at San Antonio Public Library is in partnership with Musical Bridges Around the World, a local nonprofit arts and social impact organization with the mission to provide access to global arts for all. MBAW thanks its partners at the City of San Antonio Global Engagement Office and Sister Cities International for learning resources and assistance regarding San Antonio’s Sister Cities.
All events are free, some require tickets which can be picked up at the library's reference desk.
