Celebrate Earth Day at Woodlawn Lake

to share and educate the community on the value and respect we should
give our planet. Admission for this event is free
The Earth Day event will also include a raffle of thirty bicycles, a tree
adoption by CPS Energy, entertainment, vegetarian refreshments, and a
demonstration on various healthy lifestyles, conservation ideas and
techniques.
This event will also feature FREE and secure on-site document shredding
services for all event participants from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This service is
provided by Balcones Shred. Documents recommended for shredding
include: confidential paper: financial records, legal documents, medical
records, invoices/receipts, tax returns, etc. The shredder will also accept
hard drives/DVDs/back-up tapes/etc. but these will need to be shred offsite.
No binders, hard back books, computer monitors or PCs, laptops.
Staples, rubber bands or any paper fasteners do not need to be removed
for shredding services.
We encourage you to carpool, take the bus or ride your bike to travel to
