Get ready to turn your classical ballet dreams into reality at Ballet North Texas Conservatory (BNTC)!
Our conservatory offers an exceptional dance experience, with a faculty that nurtures the whole dancer in a positive and supportive environment. We welcome students of all ages, from two-year-olds to adults, and cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced.
At BNTC, your journey will be guided by some of the finest names in the industry. Our students have the privilege of learning from BNT Artistic Director, Nicolina Lawson, and our dedicated Conservatory Principal, Kara Weigel. Moreover, they receive insights and wisdom from BNT Company Members and esteemed guest Master Teachers like Francis Veyette, Riolama Lorenzo, Tim Fox, Jennifer Milner, Jason Fowler, and Boyko Dossev.
Our goal at BNTC is to train exceptional dancers with the aspiration of performing with professional companies worldwide. We offer numerous performance opportunities to help our students showcase their talent. These include our highly anticipated annual performances of The Nutcracker and our extensive story ballet repertory, all presented in the spectacular Moody Performance Hall within the vibrant Dallas Arts District. Additionally, our students participate in Dance Festivals throughout the DFW area, receive coaching for the Youth America Grand Prix, and get to shine in our Spring Showcase featuring BNTC students.
BNTC is the perfect environment for year-round study. We boast large studios that allow ample space for growth and exploration. Our positive and uplifting atmosphere fosters creativity and excellence. Students also have the chance to join our BNT II Student Company and explore our Pre-Professional Program, as well as the Traineeship with BNT. We offer onsite cross-training opportunities to complement their ballet training, ensuring well-rounded and strong performers. And let's not forget, being situated in a thriving city with world-class music, art, and dance scenes only adds to the excitement of being part of BNTC.
We understand that auditions can be nerve-wracking, so we've made it convenient for applicants. Students may audition either in person or by submitting a video.
