The City of Kyle is calling for volunteers to register for the 38th Annual Great Texas River Cleanup happening from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 at Waterleaf Park, 628 Abundance Ln. The Great Texas River Cleanup is a concentrated effort to pick up trash along Plum Creek in order to keep our natural resources clean and safe for future use. Just south of Interstate 10 Plum Creek converges with the San Marcos River, eventually flowing into the Gulf of Mexico, an area frequented by many Texans year-round, emphasizing how important it is to take care of our waterways.
