Experience the rare and powerful sounds of Pasatono Orquesta, an ensemble dedicated to preserving and revitalizing Mixtec musical traditions from southern Mexico. Drawing on years of cultural research and collaboration with master tradition-bearers, the orchestra recreates the string, wind, and percussion bands once heard at weddings, plazas, and community celebrations. Their performance honors ancestral memory while affirming that cultural heritage remains vibrant, living, and deeply relevant today.
